Why I couldn't live in just about any state in the US, but I do

I swear, I read articles or see something on TV or hear from a friend things that just make me think, "I AM SO GLAD I DON'T LIVE THERE", but in all reality, who knows if there's a truly perfect place to live.

The latest thing that has me thinking is this Huffington article on a state candidate rep who apparently thinks we should implement a Biblical law that allows parents to have their "rebellious' children executed... just to show that we as parents have authority. I mean. WHAT THE EFF?

But really every state has a reason I wouldn't want to live there. I mean here in AZ I have issues and wonder "how the heck do I live here" and "I surely hope people don't think all residents of Arizona feel that way!"

So what about you? Any reasons you would or wouldn't want to live somewhere?

WOW. I consider myself very biblically conservative, but...just WOW.

Maine has homeschool laws that way overstep.

Washington, D.C. um - is Washington, D.C. 'nuff said. lol Seriously, do I really want to be surrounded by THAT much politics?! (And I'm not all that far away from DC as it is. It's already more than close enough.)
