Still time to help save 8400 babies in the Phillippines

For those interested, there's a petition (worldwide) to help prevent predatory and misleading advertisements to Phillipinos - right now at http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/Protect_mothers_and_babies_in_the_Philippines_from_the_baby_food_industry/

The "babyfood" industry wants to amend the Philippines' own rules and regulations. This may cause their country to have BFing rates similar to Thailand, which stand at ~2% of babies being breastfed at 6 months and only 15% of ALL babies getting breastmilk under 6 months.  Marketing and manipulation works. Companies know this! Poverty and lack of fresh water are real concerns - breastmilk is not only perfect for babies, but formula is EXPENSIVE and requires clean water.
