A person's a person, no matter how small.
Sometimes it is difficult to remember to put "things" into perspective. When my 19 month old has decided to climb atop our glass table (yes not exactly the most kid friendly), I should remind myself... " a person's a person no matter how small" - and unless he's in danger, ask or at least let him know before I pick him up. It is his body after all.
