It can be done! In 60 hours, we made it pretty much cross country! Talk about a trip! Our au pair was gracious enmough to join me in driving the kids cross country so I could visit family and see my youngest brother graduate from high school.
More to come but know that you can go cross country, keep most of your sanity, be attached to your kids, breastfeed and cloth diaper. I'll let you know some recommendations for sure. We will make th return trip a bit smoother, though I really can't complain about the ride out! I'm surprised by how well it actually went!
