I read an awesome comment on diaperswappers the other day...
"What works for me" and "Our family does what's best for us" doesn't apply to rear facing, because physics doesn't know what your family thinks is best, nor do the laws of physics care what works for you. Keep your kiddos rear facing to the weight limit of the convertible carseat you choose- but only if you believe in the laws of physics.
