Phoenix-area families - after school activities

I really enjoy city programs. I figure if I am paying nearly 10% sales tax I should take advantage of the programs that are supported by that high tax rate! There are a variety of city park/recreation/library programs for families to enjoy. I wanted to make sure those with school aged children new about their after-school programs.

From an email sent by Parks and Rec department:

Registration opens Thursday July 12 at 6:30 p.m. for our popular Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) program. This year, we're happy to be offering the program at nine additional sites for a total of 39 locations citywide.
For a complete site listing with session fees,
view our online brochure. When registration opens, you can register online at https://online.activecommunities.com/phoenix/Start/Start.asp or in person at your local community center.
To make the online checkout process go smoothly, we suggest you update your account with current address, phone number, family member, and birth date information prior to the start of registration. You may also wish to familiarize yourself with the site before registration begins. The brochure linked above also contains step-by-step registration instructions as a reference.
You can call the PAC hotline at 602-262-7370 with any questions or send an e-mail to PAC@phoenix.gov.
